Creme de la Creme is a 16.2 1/2hh newly imported KWPN stallion by top Hunter and Jumper producer Cream on Top. Creme de la Creme (aka Jimmy) not only brings his very unique colour to North America, but also brings with him a new pedigree to tap into. His very successful sire Cream on Top has not only proven his own quality by competing up to Grand Prix, but his offspring are showing time and again that the quality in this line is extraordinary.
So many of his babies are showing top results in both the Hunter ring in North America and the Jumper rings in both North America and Europe. A top example of his offspring is Sandstone, currently ridden by Scott Stewart.
This sensational gelding is at the top of the game in the Hunter world and we are not surprised. There are so many huge successes from this sire line. One of Cream on Top’s strongest attributes is his incredible character, which he consistently passes on to his offspring.
Creme de la Creme definitely carries this on with his puppy dog temperament and willingness to please. We are truly excited to welcome several “Creme Puffs” in the 2020 season starting beginning of March. Not only does Jimmy have a very sought after and successful sire line, but his damline is jam packed with top Hunter and jumper producing sires such as Caleandro, Cassini and Vittorio, who stand alone in their successes in producing truly incredible offspring.
With Creme de la Creme’s first breeding season completed, we are extremely happy with both the quality of his semen and the success rates all over North America, including several embryo transfer foals on the way from as far away as California and Texas. Jimmy will begin his show career this season. With his current approvals with Oldenburg NA/ISR, AES and Canadian Sport Horse, there are great options for foal registration and we do plan to present him to other registries this year as well.
This most unique and quality sire is already marking his place in the breeding world. He is the first and only son of Cream on Top available for breeding in North America. His first crop of foals have been truly outstanding, and his dilute ratio for his first year was 73.3%, which is way beyond hope and expectation. Limited availability left for the 2021 breeding season.
